Established in 1980, Alpha Group is India’s leading converter of plastic bottles. As converter of the world’s renowned brands, Alpha Group recognized a significant gap in the market concerning the sustainability objectives of brand owners and regulatory bodies. To address the recycled plastics market need, Alpha Group established its subsidiary in the name of ALPHA ECOPLAST PRIVATE LIMITED in 2022, to implement the “Bottle-to-Bottle” recycling technology model. Under this model, each used plastic bottle will undergo recycling into plastic pellets, thereby creating a closed-loop system for plastic bottle production to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The factory boasts a capacity to recycle over 3 billion plastic bottles per year collected domestically. Adhering to the principles of “Two-Zero” criteria in the production Process-Zero Waste and Zero Waste Water-the factory not only promotes environment friendly production but also emphasizes the reuse of energy sources in manufacturing. To accomplish this, the company has established dedicated lines for recycling labels and caps extracted from PET bottles, alongside a state-of-the-art Effluent Treatment Plant with Zero Liquid Discharge capabilities. Alpha Ecoplast has commenced its Commercial operations in month of August 2024.
